Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Bollinger Books Integration (the “Application”) handles information. The Application is a private, internal-use software tool operated by Jeff Bollinger (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to access and analyze the financial records of businesses that we own and operate, including Cloud Tool Supply and B3.
1. Information We Access
When you connect a QuickBooks Online company to the Application, the Application may access financial and accounting data from that company through Intuit’s official APIs, including:
- Company profile and settings (name, address, fiscal year, currency)
- Chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, bills, payments, and journal entries
- Customers, vendors, employees, and items/inventory records
- Financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Trial Balance, aging reports, and similar)
The Application operates in read-only mode. It does not create, modify, or delete data in any connected QuickBooks Online company.
2. How We Use Information
Data accessed through the Application is used exclusively for the operator’s own internal business purposes, such as financial analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and bookkeeping oversight for businesses the operator owns. The data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with any third party.
3. Authentication and Tokens
Connections to QuickBooks Online are authorized using Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 flow. The Application stores the resulting OAuth refresh token and company (realm) identifier so that it can maintain the authorized connection. These credentials are:
- Stored only on infrastructure controlled by the operator (a local machine and/or the operator’s private server);
- Never transmitted to any third party other than Intuit, as required to make authorized API calls;
- Revocable at any time by the operator through the Intuit account settings.
4. Data Storage and Retention
The Application accesses QuickBooks data on demand to answer specific analytical questions. Retrieved data is processed locally and is retained only as long as needed for the operator’s analysis. The Application does not maintain a separate long-term public database of QuickBooks records.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share information accessed through the Application with third parties. Information may be transmitted to Intuit as an inherent part of making authorized API requests, and may be disclosed if required by law.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect access credentials and data, including key-based authentication, restricted network access, and storing secrets outside of version control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-Party Services
The Application relies on Intuit / QuickBooks Online. Your use of QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit’s Privacy Policy and terms. This policy covers only the Application itself.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Application is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
